The weather was great, the course was fast and there was one cone that took a beating. As you can see in the picture to the left some were even flexing their muscles in order to scare the competition but I’m unsure if fright was the response that came from the flexing. It was a great day to race or watch and there were some cool cars. like the Viper.

The Miata is a great all around car. It is fun to drive hard and not a pain to drive every day. The grill on the current models are a great indication of how you will look after driving one. If you haven’t driven a Miata yet I suggest you find someone that has one and talk them into letting you take it out for a drive and you could have a smile on your face as big as the car.
How could you say no to a couple of hours when your buddy says “Hey let’s go shoot some video and take photos of my vehicles?” I was in the Lotus and he was on the bike. We headed out and had some fun. The Lotus took a bit getting used to since I’ve never driven a mid-engine car on a mountain road before but it didn’t take long to get used to it and I was having fun. I wasn’t going as fast as I could have but I was keeping it at a fun for me, I’m not driving my own car that I can’t replace if I wrecked it pace. It hard to have to put the car back in its spot in the garage and I tried my hardest to borrow the car for the rest of the night but I was unsuccessful. After parking the car I jumped into my 97 Mazda Miata which is supercharged and thought to myself, “Wow, this is like a luxury car compared to the Lotus.”
It was hot out there today but that didn’t stop people from coming out and racing. From extreme heat to rain and high winds it was an interesting day. I didn’t get many photos because I was too busy trying to keep the camera cool. What I did get is here or it can be found by clicking the link to the left for all my photo galleries.
